About Mesotherapy

This non-surgical, relatively painless injection technique delivers small doses of FDA approved medications, vitamins, and lecithens directly into the "mesoderm" or middle layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin. By utilizing Dr. Stein's unique and proprietary Micro-Injection MesoTherapy Technology, these propietary formulas shrink the fat cell:

1. They block the fat cells taking in new calories to be stored by inihibiting the alpha-receptors on the fat cell membrane.
2. They stimulate the release of free-fatty acids and glycerol stored as fat within the fat cell by stimulating fat cell membrane beta-receptors.

The result is a net loss of fat volume within the fat cells resulting in shrinkage of the localized fatty area treated.

• With Mesotherapy, fat cells can grow fat again, and the cosmetic effects of the procedure may be reversed (with overeating and underexercising). With VASER procedures, the fat cells are permanently removed.
